Hello Everyone on this white monday afternoon,
we had nearly 6" of snow on Saturday evening,
and for once the country didnt stop,
the boys are all at school today and the councils have managed to keep the roads clear,
but as those of you that know me,
know I wont go out in this weather I have a fear of falling over and breaking something,
I made some of these lovely little red roses over the weekend,
they are from tiny little sead beads,
and I will be selling them for £3.50 each plus postage,
I enjoyed going back to doing a bit of beading,
just started knitting a onesy for a order from a friend.

Heres a lovely pullover ..................

Here are a couple of photos of the varigated blue/aqua pullover that I finished knitting yesterday, its a 40" chest, and is up for sale for £30 plus postage.
I knitted this in a beautiful soft chunky wool,
its machine washable on a wool wash, just dont tumble dry it.

I am all the boys are out and so is hubby,
so a nice quiet house just me and the dog,
even the cats out lol,

I was lucky enough to win the wool and pattern for this from a page I follow on facebook,
so knitted up and its on ebay finishes tomorrow
the money I make from this apart from postage will be going to my local animal resuce centre,

Hellooo, I am back again .....

Hello strangers,
I am going to try to blog better and keep you all updated more on what I am making,
most of the time its knitting, so wont be posts everyday,
this lovely aran cardigan in a size 42" chest,
was what I finished making on Tuesday,
it took me 8 days to knit and complete, not bad hey lol,
they do take a long while to do,
the lady who ordered this is very very happy with it,
so happy customer happy me lol,
I have made other things as well,
but a couple of them sold and went even before I had time to take a photo of them
just not sure what to knit now,
I did try to do some socks yesterday on a loom,
but it took me an hour to do 3 rounds,
so slow compared with the two needles lol,
so sold the loom and gave up on socks.

Any ideas on things for me to knit,
please comment so I can get some different ideas apart from my own to do,
love doing different things.

Little Red Campervan - Split Screen

Since finishing the crochet king size bed throw,
I have still been busy with a few bits,
the above fingerless gloves are for my oldest son,
The ones below are for my youngest son,
the middle son is to into brand names etc for wanting any,
never mind he will get cold hands as I won't be buying him any,

Below is a slouchy beret/beanie hat that I have knitted in chunky wool,
so its lovely and soft and extremely warm,
this is for sale on ebay at the moment runs out on Sunday,

The latest thing that I finished yesterday,
is a small blanket in crochet,
this was a order for a lady for her guinea pig
I have a order to knit a split screen camper van,
and two aran cardigans, so being kept busy,
will show the photos when they are done,

These are photos of the just finished crochet squares,
that are now made into a king size bed throw,
all hand crochet by myself,
this was a order for a lady,
and am glad its done in plenty of time for christmas and the cold weather,

As you can see in the photo below its rather large,
a total of 180 individual squares,
all that have been edged separately and then a edging has been crocheted around the whole thing,

Pudsey Bear Keyrings - for sale - money goes to CHILDREN IN NEED CHARITY

Latest Update from me, and what I made at the weekend

Hello Everyone,
I made a massive decision at the weekend,
and have sold 98% of my card making equipment,
but still have my cd's, until I have sorted through them,
It was a big decision and I have kept a little bit back for me to make my own cards with,
BUT this blog will now mostly be knitting, crochet, cross stitch etc,
cards will come but nowhere near as many as I used to,
This was a hard decision as I did love making cards,
but there where two card factory shops opened up - One in town, and one at Freeport which is a outlet shopping centre near us, so no one really wanted to pay more than 50p or a £1 for a card,
and I am also having a new kitchen being put in (October) and would not have the space,
yes I did have that much card making stuff,

So I totally understand if I loose some of my lovely followers and want to say a
BIG THANK YOU to you all for following me,

Opinions Needed on my Airman

Hello Everyone,
See I have not fell of the edge of the planet,
had two weeks of did not go away for holiday,
just spent days out with the family etc,
also knitted this Airman for a order,
its from a 1940's pattern, and the 18" simple toy is so complicated to knit,
even though I am a advanced knitter as you have seen from my other items on here,
I really need your opinions (HONEST ONES) PLEASE
as I am not at all happy with the end product and do not like the pattern,
I am meant to be doing another like this but a ATS lady,

3d card for a birthday .................

This is the decoupaged card I made for my son to give to his friend Logan,
they are both absolutely mad on lego, especially ninjago at the moment,
so got a piccy and 3d decouapged it,
then added some peel offs,
Both boys seemed to like it so thats good.

First of all, THANK YOU to all that sent me get well wishes etc,
I had my op on Friday and now recouperating well,
I did rest, but in body and mind as sat crocheting this commission piece
its a double bed runner,
in a lovely dusky pink and white aran wool,
was quite heavy to work with when sewing together and crocheting the outside edge to it,
and warm lol,
Have another couple of comissions to catch up on, then hopefully with get time to make some cards again,

a topper that I found in my drawers, some gorgeous metal leaf's, and
some quilled daisies along the bottom,
also the text 'Just For You'
Off to hospital Friday 22nd as long as they dont cancel me when I get there,

Oh My cant believe how long its been .................

First of all, apologies for not being around for so long,
my internet or rather tower is playing up so try not to spend much time on here,
I have been really busy crafty wise tho,
this is one of the things that I have knitted,
its a strawberry tea cosy that was ordered by a customer,
and they love it.
I have been crocheting, knitting, jewellery making, beading,
but alas not card making as there is no call for it around here any more, to many cheap shops selling cards 3 for a quid etc,
also been in and out of hospital again,
last friday was meant to have a operation which got cancelled at the last minute,
and re arranged for fri 22nd July,
the car blew up last week, my boys broke my digital camera, and now the campervan has blown up as well, but hey ho thats life,
hope you are all well,
and for those of you that arent, I wish you a speedy recovery,
I will try to come back and post more often,
and perhaps once I get my tower sorted get to blog hop more often as well.

This is just one of the many makes I have done over the last week,
sorry not been a very good blogger at all,
in fact not been a very good pc'er at all, not spent hardly any time on computer over the last week, prefer being out in garden knitting or spending quality time with my mum n dad, boys and hubby.
this gorgeous patchwork style cushion cover will fit a 16" cushion pad,
it is knitted in chunky wool so soft to feel and warm to cuddle etc,

Lifes been busy again ................

Hi all,
sorry for not posting much,
but lifes been busy,
just had the half term break so kept 3 great boys happy,
been to hospital again, and now awaiting a date for a operation,
have been doing a little craftyness when I could squeeze it in,
here is a dolls set of clothes that I have made for a order to fit her 16" doll,
hope the lady likes them.
I crocheted the hat, and knitted the coat, trousers, jumper and skirt(laying on the counter)
all from a old pattern I had, to make it look as near to the 40's as I could,
my mum who was a young lady then said this looks like the dolls she used to have and see so I am happy with it all.
I am off to make a clear crystal beaded tree of life pendant now for another lady.

Nelly the Elly .......................

Pink Lace Gloves .............

OOPS sorry I missed a day for a post,
got engrossed in knitting these beautiful lace pink fingerless gloves,
and family matters etc, my oldest son stayed at home as he had pulled a muscle and bust a blood vessel in his left leg, he is ok and back at school today.

that can be machine washed on a cool wash,

My weekend craftiness ....................

Hello everyone, (cheesey grin) lol,
hope you have had a great weekend like I did,
got treated to going and seeing pirates of the caribean on stranger tides,
in 3d, omg loved it.
That was Friday night,
then Saturday morning I was treated to 3 new bra's, and 4 new t shirts/tops
from my hubby,

The rest of the weekend I was busy crafting,
I made the above tree of life pendant for a order,
and the lady came to collect today and also bought the green one,
and ordered a white one.
I did do some knitting as well,
I used some of the wool left over from my chunky jumper to make this
shrug/bolero with a lovely cable pattern.
it was meant to have a wool tie securing,
but I changed it to a button securing.
Hope you like it,
its going in my Folksy shop (link on side bar) real soon,
if it gets that far lol,
its a 36" chest.

Elvis - Burning Love -

Good Evening everyone,
Oh my what a really busy day,
I have had half a massive clear out of my crafty stuff,
the bits have gone to a dear friend Leigh, who does everything for charity,
so I know I have helped out.
I have even done a bit of stamping today,
the candle you can see above and below,
I am going to get slightly bigger candles for this image so it fits better,
as I feel its a little big for this size candle
I might even get to make a card tomorrow,
you never know, it might be the first for this year,
in case you didnt guess I am feeling a lot better today,
have to go for another camera test thingy at the hospital next friday tho,
but at the moment it doesnt feel as tho I should.

These two little teddys are two knits that I finished earlier this week,
the boy one is Teddy Bear, and the girl is lilly the pink lol.

They are both just over 7" tall, and cute as a button,
and I think look like proper teddys with teddy shaped head,

A big decision has been made by myself ................

Not sure if there is anyone interested but
I have decided to sell nearly all of my card making stuff,
there is a lot, to much for posting as it would cost to much,
if anyone is close to me and interested in it in bulk, and willing to offer a sensible price please let me know and I will send my email addy to you so we can chat.
I am in Braintree, Essex and there is a lot ranging from card, paper, embellishments, stamps, etc etc etc,

I am keeping some stuff so not giving up entirely on cards, just no one wants them any more since we had one of those cheap card shops open up in the town and also at the shopping centre near me,
so got really disheartened by it all, will keep knitting, beading, cross stitching etc etc

Off to see specialist at the hospital again on Wednesday, perhaps will get somewhere with knowing whats going to happen about medication, or whats wrong with me apart from ulcerated colitus,

Just a little update yet again about me,

Hi Folks,

Just to update you yet again,
I have been quiet again because not 100%
got doctors tomorrow after a blood test last week,
then next Wednesday on to hospital again,
hopefully not staying in but all depends on what specialist says,
so just in a daze yet again,
not crafting much at all,
as card orders have gone as there is not just one but two of them stupid cheap card shops in Braintree now, so people dont want hand made cards, gone of knitting at the moment as now getting worried whats wrong with me,
apart from that everything else is fine lol.

Oh My What a day its been ................

Hiya all,
Oh my what a busy couple of days,
yesterday wasnt to bad,
went to dentist etc and got sorted there,
then first thing today went to see my youngest son Declans open morning at his class
thoroughly enjoyed seeing him and his class mates doing their little shows,
got back opened the one letter that arrived,
its from the hospital, had to go and have urgent blood tests done today,
so they can have the results for my visit to the specialist on the 20th of this month,
non of this I knew about till I read the letter,

These three photo's are of my latest handywork,
they are of two hand bag charms and a keyring,
all hand made with beads.
All going to go in my folksy shop shortly,
they are £3.25 each with free postage to UK,

Just a little jumper ...........

Jelly Baby presents for my niece xx

Hello everyone on this lovely sunny bright warm day,
sure makes you feel a lot better when the weather is like this,
yesterday I had the back door open for a long while and it was lovely,
I got these lovely jelly baby beads hand made by my friend Faye Cassey,
she sells on ebay under the name craftyfaye71 just in case you might want to get some,
she does different colours and other types as well.

My niece adores bracelets and wanted something that the other girls have not got.
so I got these jelly baby beads and made her the bracelet above,
the bootlace necklace below,

and with the silver one that Faye kindly sent me as a bonus I made this other bootlace necklace
for my friends daughter.

I have also knitted a hat, scarf, fingerless mitten set will post those on here a bit later.

What do 36 large crochet squares make?

I first crocheted 36 of the lovely squares above,
edged them, sewn them together, then did a double row edging to the whole piece,
and it has turned into a wonderful double bed throw,
this is nice and heavy as it was made by myself using aran wool
I am over the moon and very pround of completing this within 3 weeks of starting it,
and that includes knitting a hat, baby jumper as well which I will show photos of later.

You will have to excuse the photo's as my bed is a king size and we dont have much room in our bedroom as you can see, to get decent photos and the weather is rubbish today so no sun either.

Head Band/Ear Warmer in Pink, and a whoopsy lol

Hi Folks,
here are a couple of photo's of a head band/ear warmer that I have knitted over the last couple of days, its in a lovely chunky soft wool, in a pale pink, lovely and warm.
have just listed it in my folksy shop along with two throws that I have also made over the last couple of weeks.
and as for the title the whoopsi, oh my gosh,
Yes I made a card ready for my dt on Saturday,
and wont name which son it was but it got covered in coke,
so what a big whoopsi, and yes I wasnt pleased as I had actually made a card and hadnt got around to getting a photo, so got to start again. tut tut,
never mind son these things happen and are sent to try us.
Will make another tomorrow as feel really low (energy wise) today, so just going to rest all day.

Purple Hearts Throw / Blanket

Hello everyone,

Here are some photo's of the elusive purple hearts throw/blanket that I kept on about,
I finally got some decent photo's done today so am showing of my hand work,
these are all hand knitted squares by myself and then made into a lovely throw/blanket.

I must admit I enjoyed knitting all of these,
wasnt that keen on sewing them all together, thats why it took so long as kept looking at the completed squares and found something else to do instead of sewing them together,

I have also knitted the edges on the complete throw to finish it of nicely,
this is going in my folksy shop over this weekend,
so hope someone likes it enough to buy it.

Another cushion cover ...................

I actually felt like making a card today, but had to do the boring things like food shopping etc,
and ended up running out of time after cooking a lovely roast beef dinner,
and also daylight and sunshine helps, so hoping I feel like it in the morning,
Anywhooo these photo's are another cushion cover that I knitted a couple of days ago,
the front is a lovely bright pink (not dayglo derek pink tho) and then you can see the buttons on the back on the other photo.
I have been knitting a jellybaby soft toy last night, and will get it finished tomorrow evening,
so that will be on here soon, and also my lovely patchwork heart blanket when my son gets the photo of my new camera.

Honeycomb Blanket/Throw

Happy Valentines Day everyone,

Now you can see what I have been knitting today,
two ear warmers, I had a order for the cream one and with the flower,
but I prefer the blue one without the flower, not for colour just flowerless lol,
want to sell some of these so thought I would ask for your opinions to see which would sell better,

Not sure on price at the moment, as the flower does take up a fair bit of wool,
these do keep your ears warm, the lady in the photo below told me, hehehehe,

hope your going to have a super crafty day today,
here are some photo's of some beany hats that I have knitted over the last couple of weeks.

They are all nice and warm and soft, as I have knitted them out of chunky (thick) wool,
today I knitting ear warmers as they tend to be the fashion around here at the moment,

BOOOOO - Its me I'm back

Hi everyone,

I am back posting, maybe not every day etc, but gradually getting back into the swing of crafting and blogging and enjoying myself again,

this is me in the picture knitting a square for the patchwork blanket I am doing at the moment,

I have 5 more squares to knit at time of typing, and then sewing the 30 of them together,

then knitting the edges etc, before its finished,

I have been busy knitting while not been about, its been so long so a quick update on me,

been in and out and stayed in hospital for a couple of nights,

had a few more tests, all that I know is that I have ulcerated colitis and suffer from acidity,

I am through my own ways sorting myself out, ie diets etc to help it all.

I am also now not as tired as I was before Christmas so feel like doing more instead of sleeping so much, generally more HAPPY ;)

Just need to find my card making mojo so if you have seen it please let me know, lol.

A beaded canvas flower .............

Good Morning Everyone,

with all this snow I am glad I do not have to go anywhere,

hope you are all warm and safe,

These two photo's are of a beaded flower on canvas, that I made a couple of weeks ago,

I made the beaded flower, then chalked and sealed the canvas and then using pinflair glue gel,

I stuck the flower on, the canvas is green at the bottom and blue above, to make it look like its outside. The size of the canvas is 5" x 7".

A update on me ...........

Hello everyone,

Well on Monday I went back to the doctors, even more tablets,

Wednesday was a fasting blood test, yesterday a phone call from the Doctors,

got a appointment on this Wednesday (as my Doc only works Mon & Wed) as the results came back within a day, so obviously found something wrong now at last, with any luck they can sort it so I can get back to normal, its been nearly a year now, not bad going hey?

These two photo's are of some of the things I have been knitting while lounging on the sofa,

as I have not had any energy to sit and do anything else, cant stand and make cards for long at all either, so not a happy bunny, but there you go, not long now with any luck.

The top photo is a tree decoration and has little pearl beads all over it, and the bottom photo is a ear flap hat I have knitted for a friend, will get everything into the post asap, for those people waiting for stuff from me.

Whoopsidaisy I am a day late ...............

Hello everyone on this Tuesday morning,

very very cold, icy, frosty here,

I was meant to have posted this yesterday for Whoopsidaisy's new challenge,

sorry for being a day late,

I was out at doctors yesterday and off to the hospital tomorrow for a starvation blood test,

hopefully to sort out what is wrong with me now.

Anyhoooo enough of that,

I fell for the butterflies

I made this card out of several layers of purple and silver mirri board,

using a embossing board from the Glitter Girls,

add a gorgeous digi image from Ellephantastic, which I coloured with my pro markers,

added some gorgeous peel off butterflies from my stash,

oo nearly forgot that darling purple bow and heart charm.

Commissioned Blanket for Laura .........

I am sorry the blog posts have been a bit few and between lately,

but not 100% so resting a fair bit, and looking for my card making mojo,

I have been busy knitting and this is a commissioned order for Laura,

she is due her baby Emily very soon.

This is a lovely lacey patterned pram or baby seat size blanket in a soft double knit in pink with tiny flecks of colours in it.

I have also finished a capelet which was in thick chunky wool which I shall show later once I get a model to wear it for a photo, and it will be put in my Folksy shop (link on side bar).

Christmas Baubles in 3d .............

Just a little Spider ...................

This little spider is what I knitted up in less than a hour yesterday afternoon for my youngest boy to take to his halloween party along as being a ghost, see previous post for the photo,

this little spider knitting pattern I got free from Julies Knitting Corner Blog.

My youngest son took the photo before he left out the door.

I have been back to the Doctors this morning,

got more tablets to take but also see him because I had found a little lump on my privates downstairs, I have been panicking all weekend, at the moment we know its a cist and will go

OMG Look what the posty bought me today,,,,,,

This ghost is what I was doing when the posty turned up,

my youngest has asked to dress up for a party he is going to at 5.30 tonight,

and our supermarket do not have any outfits left in his size, so I said its back to basics,

and he can be a sheet ghost, as you can tell by the photo he is quite happy as he is not going to be the odd one out at the fancy dress party.

First of all I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU

to all of you who emailed, txt, rang or popped in to make me feel better,

I truly appreciated it all, made me feel human again.

THANK YOU EVERYONE.

Secondly but nowhere near last,

Leigh is one of those lovely ladies that always does things for everyone else but herself,

she popped into see me on Monday and bought one of my beaded flowers and set of my beaded butterflies from me, she has been kind enough to even post about them on her blog,

now I would love YOU to pop over to her blog to see if you can help her out with her charities etc. dont worry it wont cost you money but a little crafty stuff would help her immensely.

Just got back from hospital .............

Just got back from the hospital seeing a specialist,

got tons more medicines to take on top of what I already have,

feel like poopey doopey, so gonna rest for a day or two.

Cutie Christmas Folded Card

Todays craftiness is a different fold Christmas card,

I got the fold from Leanne Chivers blog

I have used a Whoopsi Daisy digi image

and my favourite colouring medium at the moment which is my whisper pens.

I decorated the side panels with some 3d sticker/peel offs.

above is a close up of the wonderful image from Whoopsiedaisy

and below is the close up so you can see the special fold.

the actual base card is a metallic blue, but the light does not show it up well on the photo's

Helpppppp Or is it me going mad?

Came onto blogger this morning and the list of my blogs I like to visit has all changed,

I think all the blogs are still there but the list at the side which used to scroll so I could see who has posted is now a static, and doesnt show all that have posted?

Is this a mess up or a new thing,

I sure hope it dont stay that way as I cant see what challenges have been posted or what new cards people have posted etc, so ANNOYING

Earlier today I posted a card my 9 year old son made, and so now its my turn for my card,

I made a shaped shaker card, I used one of the many glitter girl boards to get the shape,

I pro markered this lovely image, who I am afraid I cant remember where it came from,

so please tell me, and I will give credit where its due.

Added white glitter, and the acetate part is actually a recycled plastic box that had some smellys in it before, also added some gold peel offs.

Crafting by my 9 year old son ............

Good Morning to you all,

its great to see you popping by,

This card is from my 9 year old son Declan,

while I was colouring in some images, he wanted to do one,

and he chose to do Ellephantastics Halloween Roger bear,

and asked for a picture to follow, so I gave him the sketch from sweetest thing,

and this is what he came up with.

Feeling A Bit down again .............

I am sorry for being MIA just lately,

I am not well again, went to the doctors this morning,

and on top of the 2 tablets I am taking 3 times a day,

I now have another two to take, this time for the lump etc on my leg and the really bad cramps that I am getting in my legs,

I go to see the specialist again next Wednesday the 13th.

It just really gets me down, so if I go quiet its so I dont dump my downs on you lot,

The two photo's I am posting today are of a pair of wristlets that I knitted the other night,

they are a lovely blue,

I have been really busy with my needles (knitting) just lately and want to get some nice stock up so I can start up my Etsy shop again real soon,

Typical that as soon as I try to get organised with something like this, I end up ill again,

Perhaps one day, it will work for me, I dont want the world just my own little online shop to sell my handicrafts, not much to ask is it?

Yesterday I treat myself to a set of stamps all to do with vehicles, and I had the most wonderful gift in the post of the Forest Friends set from stamping up,

THANK YOU so much to that lady, you know how special you are xx

I am of to craft again shortly, with the two new sets of stamps,

but thought I would share with you this card I made a couple of days ago,

Its from the Crafters Companion Mrs Tiggywinkle CD rom, I printed out and hand cut the lovely Mrs TW and decoupaged her up, then followed the sketch at Friday Sketchers to make the card,

all the ribbon, backing papers etc are from the same CD rom.

Footballers Bookmark ......... Ellephantastic's New Challenge today

Happy World Card Making day to you all,

We have a new challenge over at Ellephantastic today,

and it was my turn to choose it,

so I chose,

BLACK and ORANGE

There is a fantastic prize from Helen from Ellephantastic,

and it is 4 digi images of your choice.

I went for the non halloween option and made a bookmark for my middle son,

his sunday team wears black and orange and thought how apt.

used my markers to colour him in with.

Christmas Decoration .... for Whoopsidaisy's new challenge

Happy October to all,

Today is the beginning of the new challenge for this month over at Whoopsidaisy,

and the challenge is paper piecing,

I had this idea of making a chrimbo decoration,

so I used one of the lovely images available from Whoopsidaisy, and flipped it over in my craft studio, a first for me as not good on puters,

then printed on normal white paper and then on two different patterned papers,

on one side the lady is wearing blue and on the other she is wearing the green,

same with the little girl she is opposite on the sides as well,

I also added cotton wool to make the fur all over on one and not so much on the other,

I must admit I prefer the side with not so much on,

the colouring I did with promarkers, still getting to used to using these.

love them for the skin colours and for the hair.

I think I better start on Christmas ....... don't you?

Hello everyone, hope your all well,

Thought I better make a start on Christmas cards,

I got this lovely image from the adorables disc from crafters companion,

decoupaged it up, used backing papers xmas themed from my stash,

the red has a lovely snowflak pattern on it, and then to top it off I used some 3d tree peel offs,

these have little stars at the top of them and are covered in snowflakes and added glitted to the swirls frame, and also have green mirror board beind some of the green backing paper.

The sketch is from Friday Sketchers.

My First Framed picture .................

Hello on this dull drizzley day,

I have been crafting today as the boys are all at school and better.

I am not well yet again, but wont go on about it,

Here is my first (if I remember rightly) framed picture ever,

I made this frame and picture from crafters companions adorables cd.

I enjoyed doing it and will do more as this one is not 100% good as you can see on the close

up below,

Another little quicky ...................

Hello everyone, I have two out of three of my boys home ill again today,

went out to make my DT project for my challenge over at Ellephantastic this weekend,

and found that I had not put this last peel off away since I did the red bookmark, and thinking of Helen from Elle I know her favourite colour is blue, so just had to make this one in blues.

It is a peel off, coloured with markers and blinged with glitter and butterflies, and multi layered with a dash of ribbon to match.

My most favourite place ......

This is where I want to move to,

or as near to here as possible,

this is Godrevy lighthouse in Cornwall.

below are the boys enjoying themselves on the rocks, caves and beach.

The photo below is a sunrise very near to where we was staying.

I have not been about much this weekend as have been busy,

dismantling a playhouse, and then getting in a shed, which we are building next weekend.

if its suitable once built I might even get electric and heating out in it to make it my craft room,

as must try to get my kitchen diner back to a house lol.

Anyone any ideas to make it snug and warm so that my crafty stuff doesnt get spoilt?

But I have done a little crafting, knitted a scarf or two and also made a lovely chrimbo decoration for the tree, which you will see soon as its my DT project for whoopsidaisy at the beginning of October.
